Isolated in the middle of the Kara-Kum Desert of Turkmenistan, Hell's Gate is a strange blazing crater which has been burning continuously for 38 years and is the entrance to an underground cavern filled with natural gas.

2. Guaíra Falls
The Guaíra Falls is a waterfall located on the Paraná River between Brazil and Paraguay. With a volume of 1,750,000 cubic feet per second, the falls are, in terms of total volume, the largest waterfall on earth.

3. Iceberg B-15
Iceberg B-15 is one of the world's largest recorded icebergs. With an area of over 11,000 km², it is much larger than the island of Jamaica. One more thing, after nearly a decade, parts of B-15 has not melted yet.

4. Rotorua
Rotorua in New Zealand is a major destination for both domestic and international tourists, and it is also famous for its hot mud pools. Moreover, this thermal activity is sourced to the Rotorua caldera where the city is situated.

Mount Roraima is a mountain lying right on the junction of three South American countries including Guyana, Venezuela and Brazil. The borders of all these countries meet right on top of Mount Roraima. Thanks to its super old age and prehistoric beauty, Mount Roraima served as an inspiration for "The Lost World" - the 1912 novel by Sherlock Holmes author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle about interactions between dinosaurs and people.

7. Meteor Crater
Meteor Crater which is located 43 miles east of Flagstaff, near Winslow in the northern Arizona desert of the United States and is the breath-taking result of a collision between a piece of an asteroid traveling at 26,000 miles per hour and planet Earth about 50,000 years ago.

8. World's saltiest lake - Don Juan Pond
Don Juan Pond, also Lake Don Juan, is a small and very shallow hypersaline lake in the west end of Wright Valley, Victoria Land, Antarctica, 9 km west from Lake Vanda and is wedged between the Asgard Range in the south and the Dais in the north. Don Juan Pond is also known as the saltiest body of water on earth with a salinity level of more than 40%.
